OK let me take you back through the last few days of Trollhaus because I think you may enjoy them. Unfortunately I was dumb and did not take screenshots of this event as it happened/the aftermath because I fear I’ve gotten EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED and was too worried about the safety of polygons to remember to press Print Screen. For this bit the play-by-play I did in buttcraft skype chat must suffice I am sorry.
This fire took over 45 irl minutes to put out because Aradia and Equius were being NEGLIGENT FUCKS and not only did it burn every single piece of furniture in the kitchen to shit (I had to replace literally everything in it) but it also burnt up about half the living room, including but not limited to the fancy TV. No NPC firefighters came to save them because they don’t have a fire alarm in the house nor a phone to call 911 on because, I reasoned, with two fire chiefs living in the house, why would I ever need them. Aradia’s personal truck was so poorly maintained from having other people in the house drive it to the grocery store that she probably could have gotten there faster by walking from one side of the city to the other but she decided to drive it all the way there anyway. Equius was just a lot more interested in playing foosball than putting out a raging inferno, but eventually he did come (and beat Aradia there at that) and put out most of it. EVERYONE IS ALIVE although Kanaya and Terezi got singed. It is hard to keep 10 screaming idiots out of the kitchen when they keep going back to dance in the flames and the game will not let you make them go to the park or some other place far far away. For a while anyway, eventually I only had to juggle 8 because this happened in the middle of it
Eridan frequently complains to Karkat about Gamzee even though he’s pretty OK with Gamzee really and Karkat is his most hated person, I figure he might have decided this was a good time to try that interaction out again. Maybe Karkat would agree with him at this point. Karkat apparently did not.
They did beat each other up when Aradia came on scene. She gave them a dirty look. (Karkat won.)
